This device passively transmits and receives video signals without requiring a power supply. This enables low-cost, point-to-point transmission, at a range of 600m (B/W) and 400m (color), with 100 ohm output impedance.

- Allow video signals to co-exist in the same wire bundle as telephone, datacom, or low-voltage power circuits
- Transmits a monochrome video signal up to 2,000 feet (610 meters) or color up to 1,300 feet (400 meters).
